Gareth Keegan is a dynamic vocalist and commanding performer known for his powerhouse range and genre-defying versatility. He got his big break as the alternate Frankie Valli in the original Australian cast of Jersey Boys, before tearing up the stage as Galileo in the Australian tour of We Will Rock You, cementing his place as a leading man with serious rock credentials.
Gareth was personally selected by Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) to originate the lead role of Stormy in Moonshadow: The Musical, performing Stevens’ iconic catalogue in a world premiere production that highlighted his vocal strength, control, and ability to interpret folk-infused rock with authenticity and style. He also earned critical acclaim as Gabe Goodman in the Australian premiere of the Next to Normal, a performance that earned him a Green Room Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He went on to tour arenas across Australia alongside Hugh Jackman in Broadway to Oz, bringing his versatility to a massive audience. On Broadway, Gareth originated the role of James Hewitt in Diana: The Musical —a role he also performed in the Netflix film version and on the Original Broadway Cast Recording. He has performed with the Aussie Boys, Tenors of Rock and Rock Rhapsody as a guest entertainer on multiple cruise lines, and has workshopped new immersive shows with RWS Studios. He co-conceived 'Savage Nomads' A Piano Vocal Duo performing jazz and blues covers mixed with classics.
